The Best Little Girl In The World pgs(all of it)

I read a book called The Best Little Girl In The World written by Steven Levenkron. I started and finished this book this weekend.I couldn't put it down at all!This book is about a girl named Kessa,Kessa is a dancer a great girl and gets good grades in school.But one day after dance class is over the dance teacher keeps her after class to talk to her about something.They end up going to cafe near the dance place and they are discussing dance and the she tells her that she needs to lose weight. So she begins to lose weight.At first no one knows that something fatally wrong with her not her parents,teachers,friends,or family doctor.No one knows that she is avoiding eating and whenever she can she forces herself to throw up.People start to notice her after her weight starts to drop dramatically she goes from being 98 pounds to being 78 pounds. After reading this book I learned that one out of every 250 teenage girls is starving herself to death just like kessa is. This is a very sad thing but it happens all the time among many girls.I had a friend who went through this and it was very painful to watch her everyday go through this. I hope that one day girls will learn to love themselves no matter what they look like!

The Year My Life Went Down The Loo pgs 16-30

So after brother(i figured out that Emily calls her dad brother) tells Emily to just clean up her room Em gets mad.Since she has moved here she tells brother that she has no new clothes and needs to be taken to the mall immediately,brother tells her no not today because the dean is coming to there house to met them Em tried to bargin with him but hes not having it.Hours later when he arrives to there house Em is still upset about the mall thing and comes down stairs not looking her best to met the dean and along with the dean comes a gorgeous guy who will be attending the same school she will be attending and the same grade or so that's what Em thinks since its a new country her dad thinks that she needs to stay behind a year to get use to the school system shes not happy about this I mean I wouldn't be either having to move to another county and school then staying behind a year with younger kids I would be pretty upset too!

The Year My Life Went Down The Loo pgs 1-15

I started a new book called The Year My Life Went Down The Loo,and this book doesn't have chapters which I think is weird but really cool at the sametime.The book is discussed in E-Mails which at first was kind of hard to understand but I understood it eventually.I just started this book this weekend and i've got a whole lot more to go but in the first few e-mails it talks about a girl named Emily who use to live in america who now has moved to England because of her dad who is a schlor.And so far she hates it here she e-mails her friend Dru a lot telling everything.When Emily got her new home in England she unpacks her things and puts them away then leaves to go somehwere then when she comes back she finds her underwear laying all around her room she sreams so her brother comes up to see what is happening and Emily tells him and he just tells her that maybe she thought she put her things away but really didn't. If I had to move to another country I think I would die I couldn't imagain leaving all my friends behind and all my other family.

The Scarlet Letter Ch.20

After they are done meeting in the Forest they talk of leaving in 3 days so Dimmesdale can give his sermon.When he returns to the town he acts differently towards everybody.He gets back to the house and Chillingworth's is in there and wonders if hes knows his identity.Dimmesdale throws out his old sermon and quicklys starts a new one.

The Scarlet Letter Ch 18 &.19

In these chapters Hester and Dimmesdale are in the forest where it is private for them to speak to each other. When they first met it is weird for them because they have not come in contact in years the only contact Hester has had is Pearl.Hester tells him her secret and at first he is mad and refuses to forgive her,but Hester tells him that god will one day forgive and so should he.They talk about leaving and going away together and being a family with Pearl in the heat of this moment they both say yes and Hester tears off her A and calls Pearl to come her.But she won't come because she does not wear the A on her chest anymore like she use to. So Heaster puts it's back on and she comes to her. When I first read these chapters I got a little confused but after going over them in class I better understood it.
