The Best Little Girl In The World pgs(all of it)

I read a book called The Best Little Girl In The World written by Steven Levenkron. I started and finished this book this weekend.I couldn't put it down at all!This book is about a girl named Kessa,Kessa is a dancer a great girl and gets good grades in school.But one day after dance class is over the dance teacher keeps her after class to talk to her about something.They end up going to cafe near the dance place and they are discussing dance and the she tells her that she needs to lose weight. So she begins to lose weight.At first no one knows that something fatally wrong with her not her parents,teachers,friends,or family doctor.No one knows that she is avoiding eating and whenever she can she forces herself to throw up.People start to notice her after her weight starts to drop dramatically she goes from being 98 pounds to being 78 pounds. After reading this book I learned that one out of every 250 teenage girls is starving herself to death just like kessa is. This is a very sad thing but it happens all the time among many girls.I had a friend who went through this and it was very painful to watch her everyday go through this. I hope that one day girls will learn to love themselves no matter what they look like!

The Year My Life Went Down The Loo pgs 16-30

So after brother(i figured out that Emily calls her dad brother) tells Emily to just clean up her room Em gets mad.Since she has moved here she tells brother that she has no new clothes and needs to be taken to the mall immediately,brother tells her no not today because the dean is coming to there house to met them Em tried to bargin with him but hes not having it.Hours later when he arrives to there house Em is still upset about the mall thing and comes down stairs not looking her best to met the dean and along with the dean comes a gorgeous guy who will be attending the same school she will be attending and the same grade or so that's what Em thinks since its a new country her dad thinks that she needs to stay behind a year to get use to the school system shes not happy about this I mean I wouldn't be either having to move to another county and school then staying behind a year with younger kids I would be pretty upset too!

The Year My Life Went Down The Loo pgs 1-15

I started a new book called The Year My Life Went Down The Loo,and this book doesn't have chapters which I think is weird but really cool at the sametime.The book is discussed in E-Mails which at first was kind of hard to understand but I understood it eventually.I just started this book this weekend and i've got a whole lot more to go but in the first few e-mails it talks about a girl named Emily who use to live in america who now has moved to England because of her dad who is a schlor.And so far she hates it here she e-mails her friend Dru a lot telling everything.When Emily got her new home in England she unpacks her things and puts them away then leaves to go somehwere then when she comes back she finds her underwear laying all around her room she sreams so her brother comes up to see what is happening and Emily tells him and he just tells her that maybe she thought she put her things away but really didn't. If I had to move to another country I think I would die I couldn't imagain leaving all my friends behind and all my other family.

The Scarlet Letter Ch.20

After they are done meeting in the Forest they talk of leaving in 3 days so Dimmesdale can give his sermon.When he returns to the town he acts differently towards everybody.He gets back to the house and Chillingworth's is in there and wonders if hes knows his identity.Dimmesdale throws out his old sermon and quicklys starts a new one.

The Scarlet Letter Ch 18 &.19

In these chapters Hester and Dimmesdale are in the forest where it is private for them to speak to each other. When they first met it is weird for them because they have not come in contact in years the only contact Hester has had is Pearl.Hester tells him her secret and at first he is mad and refuses to forgive her,but Hester tells him that god will one day forgive and so should he.They talk about leaving and going away together and being a family with Pearl in the heat of this moment they both say yes and Hester tears off her A and calls Pearl to come her.But she won't come because she does not wear the A on her chest anymore like she use to. So Heaster puts it's back on and she comes to her. When I first read these chapters I got a little confused but after going over them in class I better understood it.

My First Love and Other Disasters pgs 81-186

So I finished this book in two readings this is the first book that i've ever finished so quickly.Because not only was this book about a girl having boy problems but she also had responsibility problems too.Victoria worked for her mother and had a lot of mess ups while woking with her for the summer.And her boy problems with Jim didn't work out in the end. I know I don't have much to write about this book but it was a really awesome book to read!

My First Love and Other Disasters pgs 1-80

I didn't finish reading the book shivers,because I came across this book and the title alone had my interest big time it's written by Francine Pascal I actually did my podcast on this book. It's about a confused girl whose mixed up in a lot of things and doesn't know what to do.She likes a boy for the summer but his ex girlfriend is at the same place she is at,Then there is this boy that likes her but she doesn't like him back either.I must say that boys can be super confusing at times but i guess girls can be too.

Shiver pgs 23-25

In the last chapter I forgot to talk about her sister Casey getting lost in the forest and Nicole freaking out about it...So in this chapter Nicole finds her and is scared because she thought that she has lost her. This chapter was really short as you can tell by the pages I read.So there really isn't a whole lot to write about.

Shivers pgs.17-22

Nicole climbs down the ladder shocked at what she just found and heard she didn't know what to think. She kept telling herself that it was just mice and that her dad could just have the house renovated. After awhile she got over it and went outside to explore with her sister Casey,she couldn't find her so she just went to explore by herself in the forest. In this forest she came across a grave yard of what looked liked a family that use to maybe live in the house this creeped her out A LOT!so far this book sounds like the book Coraline in a way.so its kinda of boring but on the other hand it isn't.

Shivers pgs 10-16

I read the second chapter of the book and its okay i guess. Since this house is an old house Nicole and her sister Casey tend to hear a lot of things like the rats in the walls. One day they go outside to play outside and Nicole got tired of it so she went back inside to take a good look around the place because when they got there she was unpacking and didn't get a chance to look around.well she came across a room filled with books a lot of old books just what she liked to read she climbed the book shelves and just started pulling books down to read then came across a book that wasn't just coming down but it was making a section of the book case move too!! If I were her I would be freaked out and i would tell my parents and make them move!!

Shivers pgs 1-9

I started a new book called Shivers written by M.D. Spencer. And so far it seems like a pretty cool book to read but I don't know if I want to continue reading it.The main character Nicole and her sister Casey move into an into in old house from Virgina. There first night there she hears strange noises that sound like rats she tells herself its nothing and tries to go back to bed. Nicole is only 11 years old and likes to read books over and over again she doesn't like change to much.well I'm going to keep reading this book to see if it gets any better.

Coaline pgs 91-DONE!

So I finally finished my book and it turned out to be a very good book I really enjoyed this book and this is a type of book that I could read over and still be happy with it.The ending totally blew my mind.Coraline does manage to get out of the second world with her fake parents but I'm not going to say how she did it and she does get her real parents back but the way It happens Is just really out there.I would certainly recommend this book to anyone.

Coraline pgs.81-91

When Coraline was placed behined the mirror there were other children placed there too by Coralines fake mother.There are there little boys stuck in there with her Coraline ask them why they are in there and they tell they are in there because she stole there hearts and souls from them.There is a light in the room and once it goes away her fake mother will take her heart and soul away and she'll just be another girl behind the mirror.This chapter kind of boreded me a bit so there wasn't awhole lot for me to write about.

Coraline pgs.73-80

When she went out to explore she met up with the cat and they walked around and somehow they ended up right back at the house where they started.The cat told her that the reason that happened was because "she" hadn't invented anymore new places yet.Coraline's other mother is trying to keep the cat out of there world because all he is doing is trying to help Coraline get out of there and she doesn't want that.But she allows the mice to stay because they are her spies.Coraline goes back into the house and walks down the hallway and sees herself in the mirror,but something taps her on the shoulder and its her other mother she asks her why she didn't see her in the mirror and her other mother says that mirrors aren't to be trusted.They both go into the living room where the other mother offers Coraline some candy she thinks it might be some nice chocolates but shes totally wrong her other mother pulls beetles out of the bag to eat Coraline in disgust denies the candy offer.Her other mother was trying to be nice to Coraline but she want having it so the mother decided to lock her up in a dark room behind the mirror and tells her she can come out when she decided to be a kind nice loving daughter.I would so freak if i got put in a dark room i thinks that's a bit harsh.

Coraline pgs.67-72

A lot hasn't really happened,the next morning in her other home with her other parents the sun woke her up.She got out of bed and decided that she couldn't wear her pajamas all day so she had to wear the clothes her other parents had for her.She went out to the drawing room to see if the door was open but it wasn't her other mother must have the key with her she thought.Then she went out to find her other dad because she couldn't find her other mother.And her other dad was acting very funny he was telling Coraline that he shouldn't be talking to her unless "she" was around meaning the mother so Coraline said okay I'll just go outside to explore some more and the father said that it would just be boring because all she made was land and flats.at this point i would be really confused as to what hes talking about.

Coraline pgs.49-66

Coraline sat at the table waiting for her mom to get home but she never did and her father disappeared too.So she just went to bed hoping that when she woke up in the morning her parents would be there.The next morning her parents still weren't there,so she made herself breakfast then went to see Miss.Forcible and Miss.Spink they made her tea and talked with her after awhile Coraline left there and went back home by now it was night time so she made herself dinner and took a bath when she finished with those things she went into her dads office and wrote a short story then put herself to bed.But she woke up in the middle of the night to see if her parents were home yet but they weren't so she went to sleep in there bed.Then she woke up again strange noises woke her,it was the cat it was trying to tell her about her parents and where they were.The cat had her follow him to a mirror and in the mirror were her parents it was as if they were trapped in this mirror they were saying things but Coraline couldn't hear them so on the mirror her mom wrote help us!Coraline knew what she had to do,she had to go back to her other parents so she could set her real parents free.She went back to the other flat where her fake parents lived.She demanded that they let her parents go but they told her that they didn't want her anymore.Coraline didn't believe it at all.Her fake mom asked her for the key Coraline refused to give it up it was the only way she could travel back and fourth through the flats.But the mice ran into her pockets and got it from her.So now she is stuck there and has to figure out a plan to get the key and her parents back.

Coraline pgs.35-48

When she went for her walk outside things seemed exactly the same.As she was walking around she ran into a cat but this cat was very unusal,it could talk and it had black button eyes.Coraline tried talking to it but the cat wasn't being very talkative with her it was just being very sarcastic but all of a sudden mice appereard and the cat ran away.So she decided to keep walking around and she noticed Miss.Spink and Miss.Forcible's flat.She knocked on the door with only her first knock she made the door swing open she went inside to find a very big room far in the room was a very dim light she began walking towards it and there sat a dog.This dog could talk to it asked her if she had a ticket to watch the show Coraline at this point was very confused.i know i would be.Coraline responded and said no so the dog let her sit and watch the show anyway.On stage was Miss.Forcible and Miss.Spink.they were doing tricks and they were skinny and pretty but had black button eyes too and the audiance was full of talking dogs clapping and cheering for them.After awhile she left and walked around some more and saw her second set of parents in the garden so they all walked back to the flat.When they got there they were saying how wonderful it would be if Coraline would live with them forever and all she had to do was sew big black buttons on her eyes to be apart of them.Coraline didn't like that idea so she paniced and ran to the door which she came out of the first time.The brick wall wasn't there again lucky for her,as soon as she got to the other side she quickly locked the door and ran to the kitchen got something to eat and sat there waiting for her mom to get home.

Coraline pgs.24-34

The next day the sun was out so it was a much better day.Her mother decided to take her shopping for school clothes.When they got to the department store Coraline wanted green gloves because on one would have them but her mom said no,Coraline got very upset.When they got home it was lunch time they decided to eat sandwiches but all they had was a piece of cheese.Her mom went to the store and asked Coraline if she wanted to go but she was still upset about the green gloves so she didn't go.Coraline sat at the dinner table bored not knowing what to do untill her mother got back.So she sat there still wondering about that door in the drawing room.She remembered that her mom kept the key in a room with the broom.She got it and went into the drawing room she put the key in the keyhole she knew she was doing something wrong but she continued to do it anyway.When she opened the door this time there was no longer a brick wall there it was another flat.Coraline went through the door into the flat as she was walking through it she noticed it looked exactly like her own.Her mother called her into the kitchen but it wasnt her mother the women had paper white skin and was tall and skinny and had black button eyes.And her dad had black button eyes too.Coraline didn't know what to think.

Coraline pgs.13-23

When she woke up it stopped raining,but a thick white fog had lowered over the house. So she got dressed and went outside and saw Miss.Spink walking her dogs,Miss.Spink was telling her about her days of acting and how men would always send her flowers. Coraline was getting terribly bored of walking around outside. She went inside to see if her parents would play with her and they were to busy to play so they told her to go see Miss.Spink and Miss.Forcible.She got to there flat they offered her a cup of tea,Miss.Spink and Miss.Forcible were discussing there days of acting while Coraline sat there drinking her tea confused trying to understand what they were saying.All of a sudden they stopped talking and asked to see her cup of tea so they could read her leaves.Miss.Spink read it first she was shocked when she read it so Miss.Forcible read them and couldn't believe what she had just read. Coraline is in grave danger.

Coraline pgs.3-12

I'm reading a book called Coraline written by Neil Gaiman.And so far it has been a very interesting book.The main character Coraline has just moved into her new house,Miss.Spank and Miss.Forcible live in the flat below her.And an old guy lives in the flat above her.There is a well in the garden and Coraline is not to go anywhere near it.In her house is a strange door in the drawing room that her mother tells her goes nowhere behind it is just a brick wall.But as she lays in her bed at night she hears strange things,strange things coming from the strange door in the drawing room.
